You can use the free software, 7-Zip, on any computer.
To unzip a restore file, you must have available space in the location to which you are unzipping the file. If you unzip a 50 GB file and you have only 49 GBs of free space, you are not able to unzip the file.
Download and Install 7-Zip
- Download 7-Zip for your specific operating system.
- Run the installer to install 7-Zip.
Use 7-Zip
- Open 7-Zip.
7-Zip displays Computer, Documents, Network and \\. - Double-click Computer, and navigate to the restore file's location.
- Select the ZIP file that you want to extract, and click extract.
- Select a location to save the file, and click OK.
A status window with a green bar is displayed that provides a status of completion and automatically closes when complete.
When the file is unzipped, it is shown as a folder in the location to which you unzipped the file. All files that you selected for restore are available in this folder.
