    Article Summary

Version 9.0 of the Backblaze Computer Backup application has a built-in restore application that lets you download files directly to Macs that run macOS 11 Big Sur and newer, or PCs running Windows 7 and newer.

The Backblaze Computer Backup restore application requires slightly more free space than the size of the restore on your machine. If there is not sufficient space to prepare and download the requested files, the application indicates that there is not enough free space and advises you of next steps. To create sufficient space for the restore, you must free up space in the destination location, select a different destination, or pick a temporary data drive that has more free space than the one that is currently selected.
