Migrate Objects to the Enterprise Web Console

Migration from existing Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage accounts is not currently supported in the enterprise web console.

These steps apply only to new instances for customers using the backup use case. To transition to the enterprise web console, follow the steps below to set up new backups—your previous backups will remain in the previous web console and will expire according to their retention settings.

1. Create a bucket.
2. Create an application key.
3. Disconnect your existing integration.
4. Re-establish the connection using the values that you copied in the previous steps.

You can also upload files from your computer using the enterprise web console.

Currently, Backblaze B2 file copying is limited to buckets within the same region and the same subscription. This applies to both:

• S3-compatible operations: CopyObject, UploadPartCopy
• B2-native operations: b2_copy_file, b2_copy_part

To copy files, use an application key from the target region with permission to read from the source bucket and write to the destination bucket.
