The enterprise web console displays different navigation items and settings depending on a user’s assigned permissions.
You must sign in to your organization's unique URL:https://secure.backblaze.com/user_signin.htm?organization=<name of org>. Your Backblaze representative provides this URL, which should be shared with all of the users in your organization to ensure proper access.
Overview
Signing in to your organization takes you to the Overview page.
All users can see the Overview page, However, the items that are displayed are based on a user's assigned role. Users with limited roles may see only the Overview page and the Buckets they are allowed to access. They will not see Access Control or Organization sections, and they will not see bucket-level tabs such as Users, User Groups, or Application Keys unless they have the Administrator role.
Depending on a user's role, this page displays counts for the following items:
- Users who belong to your organization
- Buckets in the organization
- Application keys
- Resource groups
You can click the tiles to navigate to each item.
The left navigation menu lets authorized users manage buckets, access controls, and the organization, depending on their assigned roles.
Buckets
This navigation item is visible to users who have a bucket- or object-level role (for example, Bucket Creator, Object Manager, Object Viewer, Object Writer, or Administrator) scoped to at least one bucket or resource group.
In this section, you can create and manage buckets. You can also view the following resources:
- Objects in the bucket
- Users who have access to the bucket
- Application keys that are tied to the bucket
You can also configure the following settings:
Additionally, you can upload files and add folders to store objects.
Access Control
This navigation item is visible only to Administrator roles.
In this section, you can add users to your organization. You can also configure and view the following resources:
- Set up the system for cross-domain identity management (SCIM) and single-sign on (SSO) to give your users access
- Create resource groups
- Create application keys
- Create user groups
- Assign roles and permissions
Organization
This navigation item is visible only to Administrator roles.
In this section, you can view details about your organization subscription and configure and view reports.
