Create an Organization

Your Backblaze representative will provide a sign-up URL that you can use to create your enterprise web console organization.

Create an Organization

1. Navigate to the sign-in URL provided by your Backblaze representative.
   After you create your organization, your dedicated sign-in URL will follow this format:
   https://secure.backblaze.com/user_signin.htm?organization=<name of org>
2. Enter your email address.
   Use the primary contact's email address for the initial sign-in and to manage the organization. 
3. Click Get Started.
4. Check your email for a verification message from Backblaze, and click the link to verify your email address.
5. Enter a URL-friendly version of your organization name (for example, acmeorg).
6. Create a password and confirm it using the following guidelines:
   • Use a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
   • Passwords must be at least 15 characters long — longer is better.
   • Avoid commonly used or easily guessed passwords.
7. Review and agree to the Terms of Service.
8. Click Create Account.

Your enterprise web console organization is created, and the sign-in page is displayed.

Sign in to the Enterprise Web Console

1. Navigate to your dedicated enterprise web console sign-in URL.
2. Verify that your organization ID and email address are correct, and click Next.
3. Enter your password, and click Sign in.
   The first time that you sign in, you must set up multi-factor authentication (MFA).
4. To set up an authenticator app, select the Authenticator App tab.
   1. Using your authenticator app, scan the QR code or manually enter the details that are displayed.
   2. Enter the 6-digit verification code generated by the app.
   3. Click Done.
5. To set up SMS, select the SMS tab.
   1. Select your Country Code, and enter your Phone Number.
   2. Click Send Code.
   3. Enter the authorization code that was sent to your phone.
   4. Click Done.
