Lifecycle Rules let you automatically hide and delete older versions of your files that are stored in Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage. Each Backblaze B2 bucket can have its own lifecycle rules, and you can apply those rules to some or all of the files in your bucket using the enterprise web console.

Set Lifecycle Rules
- Sign in to your Backblaze organization.
- In the left navigation menu, select Buckets.
- Click the bucket name.
- Click Add Rule.
- Enter a prefix path from the bucket root.
- Select the rule that applies to your bucket:
- Keep only the latest version of each object
- Keep prior versions for, and enter a value in days.
- Set custom lifecycle rules, and enter values for Days Till Hide and Days Till Delete.
- Click Save.
Edit or Delete Lifecycle Rules
- In the left navigation menu, select Buckets.
- Click the bucket name.
- Edit a Lifecycle Rule.
- Click
(Edit Lifecycle Rule).
- Make new selections.
- Click Save.
- Click
- Delete a Lifecycle Rule.
- Click
(Delete Lifecycle Rule).
- Click Delete Rule.
- Click
