Silently Install the Backblaze Client

Backblaze Computer Backup supports fully silent installation workflows, allowing group administrators to deploy the Backup Client across many devices without user interaction.

A silent installation allows you to install and enroll the Backup Client without displaying setup dialogs or requiring the user to enter credentials. The process:

• Installs the Backblaze client service and background processes
• Automatically assigns the computer to your Backblaze group
• Uses your Group Authorization Token to link the device without user sign-in
• Optionally applies configuration parameters (e.g., auto-start backup, suppress UI, lock settings)
