    You can use Backblaze Computer Backup to restore and download your Apple Mail files.

    Restore your Apple Mail Files

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select View/Restore Files.
    3. At the top of the page, select Download (Free).
    4. At the bottom of the page, locate the computer that you want to restore and click Go.
    5. Navigate through the file window to Macintosh HD>Users>(your name)>Library>Mail.
    6. Select the Mail folder, and click Continue with Restore.

    Download your Apple Mail Restore

    Backblaze sends you an email when your restore file is ready to download. The time it takes to prepare your restore depends on the size of the restore.

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Computer Backup, select My Restores.
    3. Locate your restore, and click Download.
      The restore downloads to the default location on your computer which is typically the Downloads folder.
    4. Double-click the ZIP file that you just downloaded to decompress the file.
      The restore file unzips in your Downloads folder.
    5. Open the new folder to view the restore files.
    6. Open a second Finder window, and navigate to Macintosh HD>Users>(your name)>Library>Mail.
      Backblaze recommends that you create a new folder called "Old" to put your local copy of the Apple Mail files in.
    7. Select and move your restored files from the Download folder to your local Mail folder.
    8. Open Apple Mail, and confirm that your email was successfully restored.
