Place a Legal Hold
A Legal Hold allows Enterprise Control group admins to preserve specific Backblaze Computer Backup backups, preventing deletion even if the user removes files. This supports compliance needs like investigations or litigation. Admins can apply and release Legal Holds, view which backups are affected, and access their contents using existing tools. Legal Holds are invisible to end users and rely on the Forever Version History feature for efficient data preservation.
