    Article summary

    You can easily add billing to a Group, add an ACH payment method, or change Group billing using the Backblaze web console.

    You must create your Group before you can follow the below steps.

    Add Group Billing

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Business Groups, click Group Management.
    3. Locate the Group that you want to add billing to, and click Buy.
    4. Fill out the form that includes number of licenses, plan type, version history, and payment information.
    5. Click Buy.
      If you already have backups in the Group, the number of licenses auto-populates to reflect that value. 

    Change Group Billing

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Business Groups, click Group Management.
    3. Locate the Group that you want to change billing for, and click (Edit) next to the Payment field.
      A form appears that lets you change the billing information or select a new plan. If you switch your plan, the change in billing takes effect on your next renewal date.
    4. Make your changes in the form, and click Buy.

    Add an ACH Billing Method

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Business Groups, click Group Management.
    3. Locate the Group that you want to add ACH billing to, and click Buy.
    4. Select Bank (ACH) as the Payment Method, and enter your bank account information including the routing number and account number.
    5. Click Buy.
      Backblaze begins the verification process.

    Verify a Bank Account

    When moving money directly from account to account, Backblaze uses a variant of two-factor authentication. Rather than sending a text to a mobile phone, over the next one to five days, Backblaze makes two small deposits into your account that you must verify.

    1. Sign in to your Backblaze account.
    2. In the left navigation menu under Business Groups, click Group Management.
    3. Locate the Group that you want to verify, and click Verify Bank Account.
    4. Review your bank statement, and enter the values of the two deposits in the dialog.
    5. Click Verify Account.
      Backblaze now directly withdraws from your bank account.
