\n2018 was a great year for Backblaze<\/a>. We hope it was a great year for you, too. We’d like to start off the year with a look back at what we believe are the top blog posts of 2018.<\/p>\n

We had outstanding posts in our Entrepreneurship series<\/a> by our CEO Gleb Budman<\/a> and others. We discussed the costs and use of LTO vs the cloud<\/a> in a number of posts. We wrote again about ransomware<\/a>, which unfortunately is still with us and will be covered along with other data security<\/a> topics in the coming year. We increased the number of posts aimed at developers<\/a>. Our What’s the Diff series<\/a> of posts introduced technical terms and topics that might be new to some readers. We also launched a Power Tips<\/a> series, which we hope will provide useful information to both our Cloud Backup and B2 users. We had guest posts from Archiware<\/a>, Lensrentals<\/a>, and others, and a series about Veeam<\/a>. Finally, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud<\/a> are showing up in more and more posts and we expect that trend to continue. And, Backblaze wouldn’t be Backblaze without a little bit of our signature humor<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Please let us know if we’ve left out something you think should be included. We’d also like your comments on which topics you enjoyed, and what type of blog posts you’d like to see more of (or less of) in 2019.<\/p>\n
