The role requires an understanding of the challenges modern businesses face in backing up their data as well as how Backblaze uniquely addresses these challenges with our services.<\/p>\n<p>One unique aspect of our Business Backup line is that over 50% of the revenue comes from \u201cself-service\u201d &#8211; inbound customers who get started on their own. As such, being a PMM at Backblaze is an opportunity to straddle \u201ctraditional\u201d product marketing through supporting sales while also owning an direct-to-business \u201ceCommerce\u201d offering.<\/p>\n<p>Our PMM, in partnership, with our Director of Sales, shapes and executes our go to market strategy. The PMM is a P&amp;L level owner for the business line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview of responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defines, creates, and delivers all content for the vertical &#8211; Our PMM is the subject matter expert for the vertical and is capable translating that expertise into collateral for multiple mediums (email, web pages, blog posts, one-pagers)<\/li>\n<li>Works collaboratively with Sales to design and execute go to market strategy<\/li>\n<li>Delivers our revenue goals through sales enablement and direct response marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The PMM Owns:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Content creation (including but not limited to):\n<ul>\n<li>Brilliant blog posts<\/li>\n<li>Webinars worth attending<\/li>\n<li>Unmissable ebooks<\/li>\n<li>Invaluable case studies from customers identified by the sales team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Sales Enablement for outbound pipeline creation and inflight deals:\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive positioning<\/li>\n<li>Market intelligence<\/li>\n<li>Product datasheets and collateral<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Website \/ User Experience optimization:\n<ul>\n<li>Ongoing site optimizations and testing<\/li>\n<li>Onboarding guides and experiences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The Perfect PMM Excels At:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Prioritization &amp; Relentless Execution.<\/em> Our business is growing, fast.
