Panna Cooking is the smart home cook\u2019s go-to resource for learning to cook, video recipes, and shopping lists, all delivered by 40+ of the world\u2019s best chefs. Video is the primary method Panna uses to communicate with their customers. Joshua Stenseth is a full-time editor and part-time IT consultant in charge of wrangling the video content Panna creates.<\/p>\n

Like many organizations, digital media archive storage<\/a> wasn’t top of mind over the years at Panna Cooking. Over time, more and more media projects were archived to various external hard drives and dutifully stored in the archive closet. The external drive archive solution was inexpensive and was easy to administer for Joshua, until\u2026<\/p>\n

Joshua stared at the request from the chef. She wanted to update a recipe video from a year ago to include in her next weekly video. The Panna Cooking case study details how Joshua was able to consolidate their existing scattered archive by employing the Hybrid Cloud Storage<\/a> package from 45 Drives, a flexible, highly affordable, media archiving solution consisting of a 45 Drives Storinator<\/a> storage server<\/a>, Rclone<\/a>, Duplicity<\/a>, and B2 Cloud Storage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Hybrid Cloud Storage package installs on the Storinator system and utilizes Rclone or Duplicity to back up or sync files to the B2 cloud.
