The summer is coming to a close, but we decided to add another intern in to the mix. Kendall is joining us for a few weeks to work on a few “special ops” projects before heading back the UK to finish off her last year of boarding school. Kendall loves to travel, and we’re happy to have her join our interns: Katherine, Caitlin, Steve, and Brian. That’s the largest crop of interns yet, but they are absolutely killing it! Lets learn a bit more about Kendall, shall we?<\/p>\n

What is your Backblaze title?<\/strong>
\nIntern [Editor’s note: Marketing Intern].<\/p>\n

Where are you originally from?<\/strong>
\nBorn and grew up in California but I\u2019m half Scottish and go to boarding school in England.<\/p>\n

What do you expect to learn while being at Backblaze?<\/strong>
\nSkills in internationalization and localization.<\/p>\n

Where else have you worked?<\/strong>
\nCamp Kennolyn in Santa Cruz the previous two summers, other than that, my main job is getting good grades!<\/p>\n

Where did you go to school?<\/strong>
\nSt. Edward\u2019s School, Oxford.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s your dream job?<\/strong>
\nInternational lawyer.<\/p>\n

Favorite place you\u2019ve traveled?<\/strong>
\nKenya; we stayed in a place called \u201cGeneral\u2019s camp\u201d for a safari and the number of wild lions, rhinos, giraffes, etc. we saw was incredible.<\/p>\n

Favorite hobby?<\/strong>
\nTrack and field, specifically long jump.<\/p>\n

Of what achievement are you most proud?<\/strong>
\nCounty champion long jumper.<\/p>\n

“Star Trek” or “Star Wars”?<\/strong>
\n“Star Wards.” [Editor’s note: hah!]<\/p>\n

Coke or Pepsi?<\/strong>
\nCoke! Duh.<\/p>\n

Favorite food?<\/strong>
\nSushi… Or just anything with sugar in it.<\/p>\n
