And, because you have to store one of those copies off-site, it\u2019s miles easier (pun intended) to store in the cloud than to physically drive or mail hard drives to a secondary location.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On the other end of the spectrum, SANs are engineered for high-performance and mission-critical applications.
