Natasha Joins Backblaze Business Backup

Our Backblaze Business Backup team has been growing lately and the latest addition to the team is Natasha! She’s been working with Backblaze ever since 2011, but mostly remotely and always behind the scenes, usually manning our social accounts. Well, we needed some help for our Backblaze Business Backup team and she fit right in! Let’s learn a bit more about Natasha, shall we?

What is your Backblaze title?
Backblaze Business Backup Account Executive.

Where are you originally from?
Originally, I’m from Saint Petersburg, Russia and have lived in Italy, Israel, Boston, New Orleans, and Paris since then. However, I have lived the majority of my life in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

What attracted you to Backblaze?
Since I have semi-worked there for several years, I know that Backblaze is a great place to work. I love the atmosphere and the people. I also have many friends that have been saved by Backblaze and very much appreciate the impact it has on people’s lives.

Where did you go to school?
I went to high school and college in France.

Favorite place you’ve traveled?
Barcelona is my happy place. I love it there!

Favorite hobby?
Traveling; I would love to visit a new country every year.

Of what achievement are you most proud?
I have a six month old baby girl and I am proud of her. I also biked from San Francisco to San Jose on a bet once and I’m pretty proud of that too.

“Star Trek” or “Star Wars”?
I’m more into “Arrested Development” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Favorite food?
Sushi, specifically Sushi Zone.

Why do you like certain things?
Why not? What’s not to like?
