    Create and Set up an Account

    To use Backblaze Computer Backup, your first step is to sign up for a Backblaze account.

    Account usernames and passwords must conform to the following criteria:

    • Must be les than or equal to 99 characters in length.
    • Must not contain ASCII control characters.
    • A password can contain multiple instances of the 'at sign' (@), but an email address can have only one instance.
    • Does not begin with or end with a space character.

    When you sign up for an account, you can select a data region. You can also Set Up Extended Version History and Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

    Install the Client
